Updates
Wednesday, November 28th, 2007Hello my dear friendsters! How are you doing? I feel so lazy in updating this blog lately… Ewan ko ba, kapag wala akong ginagawa eh parang ayaw ding gumana ng utak ko. But during busy season in the office, ay nandun naman lahat naglalabasan lahat ng creative juices ko.
Oh well, I just thought of updating all of you of what’s been happening in my life for the past few weeks.

My cousins and I went to Bonifacio High Street some three weeks ago. I love it there - the al fresco dining and shopping, the great landscaping and the tall buildings. It feels like I was not in Manila. Unfortunately, I was not able to shop around. Firstly because I don’t have enough moolah at that time and secondly, I doubt if a single shop sells something of my size. Hahaha!!! Anyway, here’s my talon pic in the BHS sign (which you may have already seen in my friendster profile). Wala akong pakialam kahit puro sosyal pa ang mga nandun. Bakit ba? I am a tourist. Bwahahaha!

I went to Boracay two weeks ago. I was with my former officemates in PwC who had their teambuilding there. Kumbaga eh sumabit lang ako, para makamura sa package. Hahaha! It was such a great feeling that my former bosses and colleagues welcomed me with so much warmth. And to tell you honestly, it felt like nothing has really changed at all — they are still the makulit and happy bunch that I knew. Haaay… kaka-miss talaga.
Of course, there were some parinig na bumalik na daw ako sa Cunanan. To them, this was my answer — "I’ll be back… in the perfect time." Masyado bang pa-special? Hindi naman. As I’ve told my friends back there, I am still a restless soul who wants adventure. I still want to go around the world and experience life outside my comfort zone. I want to save up for my future (and my future family as well…hehehe). I want to learn more so I can help beef up the local practice. With that in mind, someone may ask when is the perfect time. Honestly, I too, don’t know. Mafi-feel ko na lang yan in the future… and of course, being my friendsters, you will be second to know (first is my family of course).
Okay, ’nuff of the serious stuff. Here are some pictures of my Bora escapade.

After almost two months of waiting, my Australian visa has finally came out. Receiving my visa gave me mixed emotions. Of course natuwa ako, kaya lang inisip ko baka papuntahin ako agad sa Sydney that I won’t be able to spend the holidays here in the Philippines. On the other hand, naisip ko naman na pag hindi ako pumunta agad doon eh wala naman akong enough savings for Christmas — you know, wala akong pangbigay sa napakarami ko ng inaanak. Hahaha!
To end my agony, my contact in Sydney called me and told me that I will be starting on January 14 next year. Not only because their office is shutting down for the holidays but also for me to be able to spend Christmas with my family. Nice di ba?
Well, as for my pamasko to my god sons and daughters, utang muna for this year. Hahaha!

UST won in their do-or-die game against Ateneo in Shakey’s V-League. Grabe! Kinabahan ako kasi akala ko Ateneo can come back from their one set loss. Tomorrow, UST will be facing San Sebastian to defend their crown. Go UST! Go Roces! Go Tabaquero!

Breaking News: The group of Senator Trillanes walke out from their hearing and headed to Manila Peninsula for a not-so-announce press conference. The stretch of Makati Avenue is already closed from traffic. Haaay… ano ba naman ‘tong mga ‘to? Though I am not a Gloria fan either, can’t you not make moves that won’t disrupt business? Sa ginagawa niyong yan, pare-pareho lang kayo — pare-pareho niyong sinisira ang Pilipinas!
